After you sign up, Bookly asks a few questions — account type, your field, theme and plan — and you can skip any of them. Then Bookly shows a short guided tour, which you can skip.

How to do it

Setup after signing up

  1. “Let’s personalize your Bookly account”: choose “Personal account” — for your links, social profiles and online presence — or “Business account” — for clients, bookings, leads and offers.
  2. “What best describes what you do?” — pick your field, for example “Beauty / Barber”, “Artist / Tattoo”, “Coach / Trainer” or “Freelancer”.
  3. “Choose your interface style”: a light, dark or system theme. “You can switch anytime in settings.”
  4. “Choose how you’d like to start”: the Basic, Pro and Team cards, and on a computer a “Start with Free Plan” link below them. Whatever you pick here, nothing is charged and your plan doesn’t change: the 14-day Team trial runs from the moment you sign up, and then the account moves to the free Basic plan by itself. You set up a paid plan later in Plans & Billing — see Free trial: 14 days of Team.

Every step has “Continue”, “Back” and “Skip”.

The guided tour

Next, Bookly offers “Start guided setup” or “Explore on my own”: “Take a quick guided tour of Bookly. You can pause and return anytime.”

The tour shows your pages, analytics, a booking card, leads and notifications, then takes you over to the CRM — “Open Bookly CRM — the hints carry on there” — for the calendar, clients and finance. At the end, the same switcher brings you back to your pages.

What you can change later

Everything the setup asked about can be changed in settings: the account type in “My Profile” (“Personal” or “Company”), the theme in settings too, and the plan in “Plans & Billing”.

If something goes wrong

A booking you don’t recognise is in the calendar

It’s the tour’s test booking: “We made one test booking to show the card: client, service, time and amount. Click it to see the details. We’ll remove the booking after the tour.” You don’t need to do anything.

You skipped the setup or the tour

Nothing is lost: you can change the account type, theme and plan in settings, and everything the tour showed is described in this help center.

Not sure where to start

Take three steps: add your services, set your working hours and share your booking link.
