Delete your account: “Settings” → “Security” → “Deactivate account” → “Delete account permanently”, then type DELETE. For 30 more days the account can be restored through support; after that its data is deleted.

Who can do this. Everyone, for their own account. When a salon owner deletes their account, the salon’s staff accounts are closed along with it.

How to do it

Your data is deleted together with your account. Before you delete it, export anything you may still need.

How to delete the account step by step, and what happens to your plan and team, is covered in Deactivating or deleting your account: what happens to your plan and team. Deactivation doesn’t delete any data — for that you need deletion.

What happens to your data

For 30 more days a deleted account can be restored through support. After that, a daily clean-up deletes the data in the products and the account itself. The Privacy Policy puts it this way: after an account is deleted, its data is deleted or anonymised within 30 days, and only the records the law requires us to keep are kept longer.

Only disconnecting Google, Facebook or Apple

If you just want to remove signing in with a social account, you don’t need to delete anything: “Settings” → “Security” → “Connected accounts” → “Disconnect”. On a phone, “Connected accounts” is a row of its own on the “Security” screen.

If something goes wrong

The “Delete your account permanently” window

To confirm, type the word DELETE in the field — it’s the same in every interface language. Although the window says “permanently”, for 30 more days support can restore the account — write to support from the account’s email. Write any time — we reply during working hours. How it works: How to restore a deactivated or deleted account.

I can’t sign in to delete my account

First, try resetting your password. If that doesn’t work, write to support from the email the account is registered with. Write any time — we reply during working hours.

You signed in with Facebook

The page my.bookly.me/data-deletion describes the same deletion steps. To unlink Facebook only, don’t delete the account: “Settings” → “Security” → “Connected accounts” → “Disconnect”.

You need to remove one client

Salon clients aren’t deleted, they’re archived — see Removing a client: archive instead of delete.

Still have a question? Write any time — we reply during working hours.

  • Never send your code, password or card details

Bookly support never asks for your password, a code from an email or a text message, or your card number. If someone asks for them on Bookly’s behalf, it isn’t us — change your password and check your active sessions.

  • How to export your data

You export your client base in the CRM: “Clients” → “Export” (a CSV file) — the owner and staff with “Full access” can do it. Finance exports to Excel, CSV or PDF in Professional mode, and your plan receipts are in “Payments & documents”.
