In “Digital Products” you create a product with a cover, description, price and files, and share its storefront by link. There’s no online payment yet: anyone with the storefront link can see the files.

How to do it

  1. Open “Digital Products” in Multilink and click “Add Product”.
  2. Choose a type — “Digital Product” or “Courses & guides” — and click “Create digital product”. (“Product link” is for a product sold in another store.)
  3. On the “Add digital product” step, upload a cover (JPEG, PNG or GIF up to 5 MB), fill in “Product Title”, “Price” and, if you like, “Description (optional)”, then click “Save & Continue”.
  4. Under “Product Files”, choose what the buyer gets: a “Paid Access Link” or a “Downloadable File” (JPEG, PNG or PDF up to 100 MB). Click “Continue”.
  5. Under “Customer Details”, pick the fields the buyer fills in and click “Create product”.
  6. Once you see “Product created successfully”, copy the storefront link and share it.

The storefront lives at my.bookly.me/product/… and speaks the language of your page. Its button leads wherever you set it to: the access link or the file download.

Showing a product on your page

Add the storefront link as a regular block: in the editor, “Add” → “Links” → “Single Link” → paste the storefront address.

Archiving and deleting

The product menu has “Archive”: “Products you archive are kept here. They stay off your list but never disappear.” Open the archive with “Archive” and bring a product back with “Restore”. “Delete” removes a product for good: “Delete “title”? This cannot be undone.” When in doubt, archive.

On your phone

Digital products are easier to set up from a computer. On a phone, the section opens in the full version: tap “Open desktop version”.

If something goes wrong

“Selling needs a payment provider — not connected yet.”

That’s what the “Product” window says when you try to add a digital product to your page as a block. Add the storefront link with a “Single Link” block instead, as described above.

A buyer asks how to pay

The storefront has no checkout, so agree on payment with your buyers directly. Keep in mind that anyone with the storefront link can see the files — send it after the payment.

A file won’t upload

Check the format: the cover must be JPEG, PNG or GIF up to 5 MB, the files JPEG, PNG or PDF. If a large file won’t upload, bring it under 25 MB — compress the PDF or images — or split it into several parts.

A buyer sees “The author hasn’t published the content yet.”

The product has neither a file nor an access link yet. Open the product and add them under “What the buyer gets”.
