The Simple mode shows in brief what came in and what went out. The Professional mode adds an operations journal, reports, exports to Excel, CSV and PDF, and a change log; it is available on the Pro and Team plans.

Who can use it and on which plan

  • Finance is open to the salon owner and to staff with the “Full access” level. Managers, masters and viewers don’t see it.
  • The Simple mode is on every plan; the Professional mode is on Pro and Team.

How the modes differ

  • Simple — “In brief: what came in and what went out”.
  • Professional — “In detail: operations journal, reports and exports”. You get the “Operations journal” with daily totals; the “Profit and loss”, “Money in by payment method”, “Breakdown” and “Client debts by age” reports; exports to Excel, CSV and PDF; and the “Change log” of all your finances.

Both modes work with the same data — only the way it is shown changes. The Overview, Operations, Expenses, Staff (on the Team plan) and Analytics sections stay where they are.

Every report and file of the Professional mode carries the note “Management accounting by the date of each operation, not official reporting.” It is bookkeeping for you, not a tax statement.

How to do it

  1. In the CRM, open Finance.
  2. In the section menu, under the Finance title, choose Simple or Professional.
  3. The mode switches at once and keeps the period and filters. You can switch back to Simple in the same place.

On a phone

  1. Open the Finance tab at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Under the title, choose Simple or Professional — the line under the switch says what the current mode shows.

The mode is remembered for each person separately and is the same on your phone and computer.

If something doesn’t work

A crown next to Professional: “Professional mode is on the Pro and Team plans”

Basic has the Simple mode only. Click Professional to see what the mode adds; the owner also gets an “Upgrade to Pro” button there. Plans are compared in Basic, Pro and Team plans: what’s the difference.

There is no Finance in the menu

Finance is open only to the owner and to “Full access”. If you have another level, ask the salon owner to change it — see Staff access levels in the CRM.

“Finance is turned off in the workspace settings.”

Finance is switched off for your salon. You can’t turn it back on yourself yet: the switches in Workspace → General → “Enabled Modules” are marked “Soon” and only show what’s on. Contact support and we’ll help you turn it back on. Write any time — we reply during working hours.

“Could not save the finance mode. Please try again.”

The mode wasn’t saved. Check your internet connection and switch the mode again.

“Some filters apply only in the Professional mode.”

You moved to the Simple mode while filters from the Professional journal were still on. Click “Remove” to clear them, or go back to Professional.

Didn’t find your case? Contact support. Write any time — we reply during working hours.

  • Operations and journal: income, expenses, voiding

Booking payments appear in Operations on their own; other income, expenses and deposits are added with “Add operation”. Operations are not deleted but voided: a voided one leaves the lists and totals but is not erased.

  • Reports and exports: Excel, CSV and PDF

In the Simple mode, analytics is downloaded with “Download CSV”. In the Professional mode, the Export menu gives Excel, CSV and PDF with the same filters; Excel and CSV hold up to 50,000 rows, a PDF up to 500.

  • Staff pay and rates (Team)

On the Team plan, Finance → Staff counts pay by itself from paid bookings using each master’s pay terms: a percent of the service, a fixed amount per booking or a monthly salary. Adjustments and payouts are recorded there too.
