Exporting your client base

The “Export” button in “Clients” downloads your base as a CSV file with the same filters you see on screen. Only the owner and staff with “Full access” can export.

Only the owner and staff with “Full access” can export the base. Other access levels don’t have the “Export” button.

How to do it

1. Open CRM → “Clients”.
2. If needed, set the search, “Filters” or the “Archive” toggle — the file repeats what’s on screen.
3. Click “Export”. While the file is being prepared, the button says “Exporting…”.

On a phone: “Clients” → the “More actions” menu → “Export clients”.

What’s in the file

• A file named `clients-YYYY-MM-DD.csv` with the export date.
• Columns: name, phone, email, status, source, tags, visits, total_spent, last_visit, created_at.
• UTF-8 encoding with semicolons as separators, so Excel opens it straight away with the right characters.
• The regular list exports without archived clients. To export archived clients, turn on “Archive” and click “Export”.

Bookings (visits) aren’t exported as a separate file. Money is exported in “Finance” — see Reports and exports: Excel, CSV and PDF.

If something goes wrong

“Could not export clients. Try again.”

Check your internet and click “Export” again. If that doesn’t help, write to us. Write any time — we reply during working hours.

There’s no “Export” button

Only the owner and “Full access” see the button. Ask the salon owner to export the base or to change your access level (see Staff access levels in the CRM).

The file opens with strange characters

Open the file in Excel with a double click — it detects the encoding itself. If you import the file into another program, choose UTF-8 encoding and “;” as the separator.
