Go to “Plans & Billing” → “Manage subscription” → “Cancel subscription”. Your plan stays on until the end of the paid period, nothing more is charged, and until that date you can resume the subscription with one button.

Who can do this: the salon’s account owner.

How to cancel

  1. Open “Settings” → “Plans & Billing”. On a phone, open “Profile & Settings” → “Billings”.
  2. Choose “Manage subscription” → “Cancel subscription”.
  3. Confirm: “Cancel the subscription? You keep access until {date}. No refunds.” → “Cancel subscription”. Changed your mind? Choose “Keep it”.

After you cancel, the tab shows “Subscription cancelled, active until {date}” and a “Cancelled” badge, and you get a “Your subscription is canceled” email. If you pay by link, no more emails with links to pay for the plan will come.

What happens next

  • The plan keeps working as before until the paid period ends.
  • Nothing more is charged, and the money for the paid period isn’t refunded.
  • When the period ends, the salon moves to the free Basic plan, and you get a “Your plan has ended” email. All your data stays, but Basic limits apply.
  • Removing your card also turns auto-renewal off.

How to resume

  1. Before the paid period ends, open “Plans & Billing” (in the CRM, the banner has this button too).
  2. Choose “Resume” — you’ll see “The subscription is back on.”

Autopay needs a working saved card. If the period has already ended, the subscription can’t be resumed — buy the plan again.

Yearly Team and extra seats

If Team is paid for a year, extra seats are billed separately every month. These payments go on while the seats are active, even after you turn off auto-renewal, but no longer than the end of the paid year. To stop them earlier, remove the seats on the “Staff” page in the CRM — see Paying for extra Team seats.

If something doesn’t work

Will I get my money back if I cancel?

No: we don’t refund plan payments, neither for unused days nor after you cancel. The only exception is a charge made by mistake or twice. More in Refunds for your Bookly plan.

I can’t resume my subscription

You can only resume before the paid period ends. Autopay needs a working card: if you removed it, the subscription stays on until the period ends, and then you buy the plan again. What each message means is in Payment errors.

I’m deleting or deactivating my account

The subscription then ends at once, with no refund for the rest of the period. If you come back to a deactivated account, you’ll need to pay for the plan again. More in Deactivating or deleting your account: what happens to your plan and team.

  • Paying for extra Team seats

A new seat is first paid pro rata until the end of the current billing month, then monthly together with your plan. On a yearly Team plan, seats are billed separately every month; unpaid seats are turned off after 7 days, and the plan carries on.

  • SMS in your plan and SMS packs

Paid plans come with a monthly SMS limit that renews on the 1st. If that’s not enough, buy a pack in “Plans & Billing” → “Buy SMS package”: SMS from a pack don’t expire.
