Booking analytics

How many bookings, and what they bring in

The “Bookings” tab of “Analytics” counts your bookings for the chosen period: how many were paid, what the average check is and which clients bring in the most. There is nothing to type in: a payment marked on a booking becomes income by itself.

The “Bookings” tab

Four tiles, two charts and the list of clients

All on one screen of “Analytics”: pick a period, and the tiles, the charts and the list of clients are recounted for it.

Bookings with their change

The “Bookings” tile counts the paid bookings of the period and shows the change in per cent against the previous period of the same length, captioned “Last month” or “Last year”.

Paid and unpaid

“Paid” shows the number and the share of paid bookings, while “Unpaid” counts, separately, the completed visits with no payment marked and the bookings whose money was refunded. They stay out of income until you mark the payment.

Average check with add-ons

The sum of paid bookings divided by their number. A check holds the service and the add-ons added to the booking, and the percentage next to it shows how it moved against the previous period.

Charts by day or by month

“Bookings over time” draws bars, “Average check over time” a line: by day, and by month for a period longer than two months.

Who brings in the most

The “Clients” list is ordered by amount: “Visits”, “Amount”, “Share” among all the clients of the period, and the average check of each.

Five periods

“Today”, “This week”, “This month”, “This year” or “Custom range” with two dates. The chosen period stays in the page address, so you can come back to it by link.

Bookings directory

Every booking in one list

The “Bookings” page gathers every visit, past and upcoming, by day: “Today”, “Tomorrow”, then the dates. The “All”, “Upcoming” and “Past” switch, a search by client, service or specialist, and filters by status, payment, specialist, period or “Only bookings with add-ons”.

  • “In this view”, “Earned on completed” and “Still ahead” above the list
  • The summary covers the whole selection, not the page
  • Filters live in the address: a selection can be shared by link
Booking card

Receipt, payment and history

Click a row and the booking card opens. “Receipt” breaks the total into “Service”, “Add-ons” and “Total”, “Payment” shows when it was taken and by whom, and “Activity” keeps the log of every change from creation to payment, newest first.

  • The payment method: “Cash”, “Card” or “Terminal”
  • Every event with its time and the person who made it
  • “Open in calendar” leads to this booking in the grid
No separate books

Analytics counts from paid bookings, not from spreadsheets

When a booking is marked “Cash”, “Card” or “Terminal”, it becomes an income operation in the “Finance” section, dated by the visit. The “Bookings” tab counts from those operations, so nothing is entered separately: change the booking and the analytics change with it.

A payment becomes income on its own

Marking a payment on a booking creates an income operation; removing the payment or cancelling the booking removes it. The tiles and charts recalculate without you.

Compared with a period of the same length

The percentage next to “Bookings” and “Average check” compares with the previous period of the same length and is labelled “Last month” or “Last year”.

Average check with add-ons

A booking’s total includes the service and the add-ons attached to it. The average check divides the total of paid bookings by their number.

On the phone

The same analytics in your pocket

In the mobile CRM, “Analytics” has the same “Overview”, “Income”, “Expenses” and “Bookings” tabs. The period switches in a row above the tiles, and the tiles, the charts and the clients follow one another.

Four tiles

“Bookings”, “Paid”, “Unpaid” and “Average check” two to a row, with the same changes and shares as on the computer.

Both charts

“Bookings over time” and “Average check over time” one under the other: the bars of bookings and the line of the check by day or by month, as on the large screen.

Clients

The “Clients” list with the amount and the share of each: who brought in the most in the chosen period.

A period in one tap

“Today”, “This week”, “This month”, “This year” or “Custom range” switch in a row above the tiles.

Analytics in figures

What the “Bookings” tab is made of

Four figures for a period, five ways to choose it, five statuses a booking passes through and three totals above the directory. Limits the tab takes from the product code.

Every booking keeps its own history

“Activity” in the booking card logs everything that happened to it: creation, status changes, moves, add-ons, payment. Next to every event is its time and who made it: the client, the owner, a staff member or the system. So nobody has to remember who changed what and when.

  • “Booking created” says where it came from, for example “Through the booking widget”
  • “Rescheduled” keeps the old and the new time side by side
  • “Payment received” stores the amount, the method and who took it

From the bookings themselves. When you mark “Cash”, “Card” or “Terminal” on a booking, it becomes an income operation in “Finance”, dated by the visit rather than by the day you pressed the button. The analytics counts from these operations, so there is nothing to enter separately. A payment taken off or a cancellation removes the income just as automatically.

The sum of paid bookings in the period divided by their number. The total of a booking is the price of the service plus the add-ons you added to it. The percentage next to it compares the check with the previous period of the same length.

Separately. The “Unpaid” tile shows completed visits with no payment marked and bookings whose money was refunded, but they do not enter income or the average check. As soon as you mark the payment, the booking moves to paid. Upcoming unpaid visits do not enter booking analytics at all: they wait in the “Expected income” tile on the “Overview” page of “Finance”.

Yes. Besides “Today”, “This week”, “This month” and “This year” there is “Custom range”: two dates and the “Apply” button. The percentages compare it with the same number of days before it, and for a period longer than two months the charts switch from days to months.

The mobile CRM has the same “Bookings” tab with the tiles, the charts and the clients. “Download CSV” is there both on the desktop and in the mobile CRM (the icon at the top of “Analytics”): the file holds the date, income, expenses, profit, the number of bookings and the average check for every day or month of the period. In Professional mode, on the “Income” and “Expenses” tabs, the “Export” menu with Excel, CSV and PDF takes the button’s place — more on the “Advanced Analytics” page.
